Aromatic Turkey Larb

This dish will serve two people


300g of Turkey Mince

1 shallot

3cm of ginger

3 garlic cloves

2 limes

1tbsp of fish sauce

3tbsp of sweet chilli

2tbsp of brown sugar

2tbsp of jasmine rice.

a handful of mint

a handful of coriander

a handful of basil

Crushed peanuts ( to garnish)


To begin with dice the ginger, garlic and shallots and cook in a frying pan with a dash of oil for two minutes.

After two minutes add the turkey mince until fully cooked, which usually will take 5-10 minutes.

Whilst you are waiting for the mince to cook in a separate frying pan place the 2tbsp of jasmine rice. Cook the jasmine rice until golden brown and then blitz in a blender into a fine powder.

Once the mince is cooked add the sweet chilli, fish sauce and the fine rice powder and cook for 2 minutes.

Before placing the larb mixture in the little gem leaves, add the mint, coriander and basil for 1 minute add to the lettuce leaves and then plate up.

We garnished with peanuts and half a lime.
